Nusantara Polo Club
Although the Equestrian sport of POLO in Indonesia dates back to the days of Dutch (Colonial) times, not many people in Indonesia are really familiar with the sport of POLO.
After the economic crisis of 1998, however, the overall interest in POLO rapidly gained pace, and so much so, that during the SEA-GAMES of 2007, in Thailand, Indonesia’s National Polo Team managed to play a highly competitive role.
POLO enthusiasts – men and women alike – who are interested in learning more about this action-packed and highly exciting sport of “man” and “horse”, can do that at the Nusantara Polo Club, a premiere POLO- and horseback riding facility that can be seen from holes #4 and #5 of the New Course at Jagorawi Golf and Country Club, in Cibinong, and just 45 minutes away from Jakarta’s Central Business District.
There, POLO enthusiasts and horseback riders can find a facility that includes not only a genuine POLO field, but certainly also training grounds and stables where the horses are looked after by a well-trained and highly knowledgeable team of caretakers and groomers.
Considered by many as a family-friendly world-class POLO- oasis, the Nusantara Polo Club not only welcomes all POLO- and equestrian and horseback riding enthusiast who want to learn more about the game of POLO, but surely also all who want to learn more about recognizing and appreciating the relationship between man and horse.
